Fiverr Statistics

If you ask me, Fiverr is doing a farm good job making money. I do not think they should change their marketing.

Spam or not?

Fiverr doesn't really send out tons of emails like most companies. They actually send out emails based on their blog post or whenever someone pays for a job or when a freelancer gets a gig. A lot of the alerts I've received about Fiverr comes from news about the company. I think the company does a good job with not spamming people with a lot of unnecessary emails. I would not change this behavior, because they may start losing their customers if they do. Once again the company's strategic marketing is serving them well.

4.3 Million Gigs?

As discussed in my other post, Fiverr uses transactional methods and multichannel models to reach out to their customers. The entire purpose of fiver is to use freelancers to make them money. For example, if someone like myself pays a freelancer $20 for s service, Fiverr will get $1 or $2 from the transaction. It seems little, but there in 2015, Fiverr created 4.3 million gigs . That's a lot of gigs and those numbers surely adds up.  Personally, this method is such a genius. There is nothing like using other people to make you money. That's a true business method, because I can almost guarantee that the owners don not spend a lot of their time running their business, because the business is basically automated.  Honestly, there is not a better way to make money. I'd rather have other people do all of the work and make me money, than to have to work extra hard to make myself money. It's just smarter.

Results

It looks like most of my traffic is coming from Google plus and Facebook. Even though I only received 8 views, honestly, I really should've promoted it using other aspects. However, at least I know that the little effort I did do worked. To better improve my results, email marketing and even word of mouth would've done a lot more.

How Does Fiverr Market and Make Money

Image
In this first post, I will be talking about Fiverr and how they use marketing to make money and reach their customers. Their marketing strategies are quite simple. It's not hard to see as I am a valued customer. I use fiverr all of the time to get flyers made for my artist Friday Cellphone Man . Fiverr uses transactional models and multichannel models by using freelancers as a way to make money. Fiverr is definitely one of the largest virtual marketplaces where people maker money by offering their  services for just $5 or more. For each amount that is paid out, a percentage is also given to Fiverr. Some gigs are services done offline as well.  For this type of company, they are using the best type of technology to grow their business and reach their demographics- other people. In a sense, they are using Affiliate Marketing, because for each sale, they get a percentage.  Honestly, I do not see how they can better their strategies. They are one of...
